This is part of a series of family-oriented day trip outings around the San Francisco Bay Area I look forward to enjoying with my kids once social distancing and shelter in place isn’t the norm any longer.

Author’s note: These places have been on my to-visit list for ages, and I’m still looking forward to visiting once our shelter in place orders relax a bit. I’m sharing my research with you for your own day out in the near future.
